ban fracking in the southeast

The Labor Government has introduced legislation to lift the moratorium on fracking gas in the Limestone Coast.

While Labor don’t have enough support to get this bill through parliament, the Greens are working with the community to call for a full ban to fracking in the Southeast when the moratorium lifts.

A tw0-year community campaign to put a stop to fracking in the southeast resulted in a 10 year moratorium. It lifts in 2028.

It’s time for a full ban to fracking in the southeast.

We’re working with people all over our state to work towards 10,000 signatures to force a parliamentary inquiry into banning fracking in the southeast.
